Frequently asked questions

How do I open the grown-ups area?

On the park map, tap the gear button in the top corner. A quick parental gate asks you to tap three numbers that are spelled out in words. Inside you will find the Progress report and Settings (kids, sound, subscription and more).

How do I start the free trial?

After the welcome tour, a grown-up can choose a plan. New subscribers can start with a 3-day free trial; the plan, price and trial are shown by Apple before you confirm. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you will not be charged.

How do I restore my purchase on a new iPhone or iPad?

Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe. Then open Mathing, go to Grown-ups › Settings › Subscription and tap Restore purchases. Your subscription will be recognized in a few seconds.

How do I cancel or change my subscription?

Open your device Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions › Mathing, and choose a different plan or Cancel Subscription. You can also get there from Grown-ups › Settings › Manage subscription inside the app. Apple has a step-by-step guide: If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple.

Can I get a refund?

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly because we never see your payment.

How do I add another child?

Mathing supports up to 4 kids on one device. Go to Grown-ups › Settings › Kids › Add a child, or tap the player badge (avatar and name) at the top of the park map and choose Add player. Each child gets their own levels, prizes and progress report.

How do kids switch players?

Tap the player badge (avatar and name) at the top of the park map. The “Who’s playing?” screen lets each child pick their own profile.

How do I reset a child’s progress?

Progress is saved per child. To start a child over, add them again as a new player, then delete the old profile in Grown-ups › Settings › Kids (the delete button appears when there is more than one child). Deleting the Mathing app erases every child’s progress on that device. To see the welcome tour again without losing progress, use Grown-ups › Settings › More › Replay welcome tour.

Will progress move to a new device?

Progress is stored only on the device; Mathing has no accounts and keeps no copy of your child’s data. If you restore a new iPhone or iPad from an iCloud or computer backup of the old one, the Mathing data in that backup comes with it.

How do I turn off music or sound effects?

Go to Grown-ups › Settings › Sound to switch music, sound effects and vibration on or off. Also check that the device volume is up and Silent Mode is off if you expect sound.

Which devices are supported?

Mathing is made for iPhone and iPad and plays in landscape. It requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later.

Does Mathing need Wi-Fi?

No. Every level, game and prize works offline. An internet connection is only needed for Apple to process a purchase or a restore.

Privacy at a glance

No ads. No tracking. Your child’s info stays on the device: names, avatars and progress are never sent anywhere. Subscriptions go through Apple, and our subscription service only sees an anonymous purchase record. Read the full Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.
